1. No AC. The compressor is seized, the condenser is gone, and the PO believed the controller inside the dash is broken too.

2. Rust. Lots of rust.

4. Nearly every interior panel is broken and/or loose and/or rattling

5. The right side of the hood no longer sits level with the fender, thanks to my off track excursion at the rallycross.

6. Also since the rallycross, the low coolant light stays on all the time, the low oil level and low washer fluid lights are intermittently on

7. The right front brake has been squeaky intermittently

8. The “wood” trim is peeling

9. Even new shocks couldn’t keep the front wheels from bouncing like crazy on the Rallycross course

10. The radio, which always sounded terrible, is now also super quiet. I can barely hear the thing

There’s more, of course, but that’s what comes to mind

This post is about what’s wrong though. What’s right? Gadamn you really do feel like the master of the road when you’re behind the wheel of this beast. It loves to eat the highway miles.

There’s one for sale right by my house. It’s got Impala SS wheels on it. I’m mildly in love.

All typical B-body areas. A hole in the base of the driver’s side B-pillar, the lower quarters behind the rear wheels, the inner rear wheel wells, the rear bumper structure behind the bumper cover crumbles when you touch it, and a few other random spots. You could save the car, but you’d be a lot better off starting with a better one.
